Yellow Pagoda Hotel

Location - on the main road and coffee area, close to Asan - shoping areas.

Noise made by some guests in the middle of the night until morning.Room had no outside view. Too dark area.

I liked the cleanliness and location.

I didn’t feel safe staying there. I saw a registered sex offender inside the hotel premises.

highly recommendable for first time time Kathmandu Visitors [ located next to down town ],, as staff are very friendly they can guide you entirely ktm , hotel located next to downtown ... you must try their lavish breakfast

Very good pre arrival support , appreciated late night pick up , Amazing Nepalese Hospitality !!! Must recommend their lavish breakfast and the cozy room . Thanks to the hotel staff for Expedite check in just 3 min and helping me to reach airport in right time

No Complain

Staff is SUPER friendly and helpful.Food from the restaurants is Yummy!!!!Tried Chicken Mo-Mo, BBQ chicken wings, Biriyani and Fried rice. They were very tasty, cheap and had a good portion size. Hotel provides all the necessary toiletries and tea/coffee making items. Rooms also contains a mini fridge and a safe (did't use it)Location is quite central.

The hotel is bit dated.Carpets, walls, etc. are can use some TLC.The bedding is clean, but shows its age.Charged 10USD for airport pickup that was advertised as free (But, gave ample warning about the additional charge via email and also 10USD is nominal for that service)There is some nearby constructions, sometimes making it bit noisy.

The staff were exceptional and so polite. The hotel has a pleasant family- feel atmosphere. They facilitated my taxi trips, so I felt very safe as a solo traveller. They were willing to accommodate my requests and did so unobtrusively.

There was smell in bathroom,The Lift got stuck two times during our stay and we had to wait in lobbyLift requires maintenance

The rooms are a good size and have a fridge.

My booking was for a Deluxe King room. The first night I was given a room on the 6th floor. I arrived after midnight, so with minimum unpacking I went straight to bed. It wasn't until morning that I realised the "Window" was merely an internal window, no natural light. The shower had no tap. I contacted Reception and was immediately offered a different room without even having to mention what my concerns were, so they obviously knew there were problems with the room. The new room on level 3 was much better.

Very very rude front desk staff and room is very dusty and old. Be aware that room is not as it looks in picture . It’s very old and dirty.

Location is good but money you charged , is very exorbitant than the property offered to me. It is small Deluxe room having hardly any place to move inside. Even there was not a proper fine table to accomodate 2 plates. You charged too much . Booking hotel through Booking.com is a foolish idea. I will never book room through booking.com.

Room is very small. Bathroom is very small. No space to move inside . For this kind of property, why did booking.com charge high tariff. It is not value to my money. If I could have booked directly, I might negotiate for better room . It is lesson for any one that booking room directly with hotel is wise move than booking through booking.com. You have no idea about property. You have charged double of the actual tarrif. The similar property in Kathmandu is negotiated in NPR 4,000- 4,500. You are making customer fool.

There was not a lot to like.

Breakfast was not good, so didn’t go on the second morning. The lift was being used by building team working on the hotel so had to use the stairs to the 4th floor every time we went in or out.Hotel itself is not well maintained.And the staff are unfriendly and unhelpful. Brown cold water in the bath tub..

very good breakfast & throughly enjoyed, also location was ln good place where i managed to reach my deatination as required.

When asked for a double bed, they provided us with a room where two single beds joined together and now I have a bad backache and stiff neck.

I got hot water in a second and room with AC/heater is working perfectly fine so that I never feel cold at my stay also thank you so much the room service (man) who serve at late night too with happy face. Also I want to thank you all then entire team for making my stay memorable.I will recommend this place if you are planning to stay in Kathmandu in the main city with quite room.

Everything is beyond my expectation (perfect)
